Located a short drive from Sydney’s Central Business District, the suburb of Annandale is a region with a lot of heritage and plenty going for it in the present.
The northern end of the suburb lies on Rozelle Bay, on Sydney Harbour, affording residents some stunning views of the bay, not to mention a peaceful place to visit and relax for a while. Of course, Rozelle Bay isn’t the only place to visit while in Annandale. If you’re looking to take in a little history, you could drive by The Abbey, a historic house that was build nearly 150 years ago and has been lovingly maintained since. There is also the Hunter Baillie Memorial Presbyterian Church, which is almost as old as The Abbey. And, of course, the aqueduct across Johnson’s Creek is a visually stunning piece of architecture.
